We had a soup as a starter and th... read more I had heard excellent comments on the Schäfli and we finally decided to try it ourselves. I must say we were not disappointed! We had a soup as a starter and then a salmon-based main course. It was all delicious and nicely presented and the service was extremely friendly. The bill was also acceptable compared to Swiss standards. Only 1 but: salmon is the home specialty. They even have their own smokehouse where they cure salmon and sell it. But the choice of salmon-based dishes in the menu was not at all as wide as I would expect.
