The Konditorei culture in Germany causes high expectations from the customers. This is the reason that a bakery, which would score high marks in the Netherlands, like Arends in Neuenhaus, is found a bit wanting in Germany. Coffee and cake is OK, but not outstanding, and the establishment is located just outside the center of Neuenhaus in an uninspiring area opposite the local Toyota dealer. This is the reason that a bakery, which would score high marks in the Netherlands, like Arends in Neuenhaus, is found a bit wanting in Germany. Coffee and cake is OK, but not outstanding, and the establishment is located just outside the center of Neuenhaus in an uninspiring area opposite the local Toyota dealer. But once more, nothing wrong with their output.
