The only house with a facade in the Empire style in Neuchatel is this gem of a restaurant. Expect attentive service and a small, select menu. I had the plat du jour , which was a perfectly cooked steak with crisp vegetables and roesti-style potatoes. Sehr gute italienische Küche, freundlicher Service und ein schönes Ambiente. Die Preise sind angemessen. Das Lokal kann uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.
Das Essen (Entrecote und Lamm) hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Mit dem grossen, offenen Fenster ideal bei einem verregneten Sommerabend. Der Service war hervorragend. Ein super Abend!
Unfortunately cannot recommend this place. Starting off with the mediocre service; despite me speaking french, the waitress did not get what I was saying, what may have to do with her not even listening to the customer but immediately replying without waiting for the full...question. Also, guess that had to do with not listening again, I ordered two water bottles, but she only brought one. I ordered fries and she brought none. Our main course was so lala, hadn’t I known I had ordered Taglierini al limone, I don’t think I would have guessed it was supposed to be lemon flavored. Considering the price (almost 30. for pasta) we had expected more.
This was a great recommendation from our hotel. It's a lovely restaurant right in the heart of old town with tables outside next to a beautiful fountain and beneath the old clock tower. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Our...waitress took the time to translate the entire menu for us non French speaking folks. We were offered the opportunity to move inside when it began sprinkling but sitting outside in the old town with the lit up buildings is just magical.
Nous étions 8 en terrasse et la soirée à été merveilleuse. Les plats étaient tous bons et certains exceptionnels (carpaccio de thon ou de poulpe, moelleux au chocolat, soupe de fraises). Et la terrasse est très agréable avec le bruit délicat de l'eau coulant dans la fontaine. Enfin le service a été remarquable, rapide et prévenant ce qui n'est pas la norme à Neuchâtel.Une très bonne soirée. Merci.
