Contribute FeedbackNiu 2.0 Since 15. The restaurant Niu at Kempinski Hotel Frankfurt Gravenbruch was reopened in the winter months. It offers Asian steakhouse and wok high quality cuisine and replaces the Lebanese speciality restaurant Levante only open in summer until the end of April. In the newly opened Niu, chef Robin Eisermann provides first-class Asian steak and fish dishes. It uses exclusively premium fish and meat products from the best producers in the menu. In addition to Asian soups, tuna steaks are offered in sushi quality, and a wide range of meat cuts are available either from lavasteingrill or from wok. There is a fish or meat menu, an à la carte selection and a signature dish with a fresh daily offer. The service at Niu is led by the experienced Kempinski employee Christian Rothe and leaves nothing to be desired. At the beginning we were served freshly prepared Asian bread with aromatic dips: Curry Mango cream and tomatoes baptize herbs. We had a delicate octopus takoyaki with Baby Leaf Rolls and a sharp Vietnamese beef Pho as starter. The most important courses: wonderfully cut beef bags with lotus root, pumpkin cream and wild broccoli or a 300Gramm Premium Mooq Rumpsteak with sauce and supplement according to choice. I chose a Chimichurri Mango sauce and Chilli Pommes frites. The Dry Aged beef of German origin was perfectly grilled, juicy, delicate and very aromatic served (satisfied) without a rim of fat. Given the high quality, we were also very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. For meat lovers, the Asian steak house in Kempinski is a great culinary alternative to the standard steak and grill restaurants in Frankfurt. If you like it a little less asian, it is also well kept in the EssTisch Restaurant or in the rustic Torschänke. There are very good classic dishes at cheaper prices. Attention: The restaurant Niu is only open for Mo. Di. and Fr. Sa.
