All dishes were prepared with a view to reg... read more Yesterday evening we were with 3 people in the Free State of Eifel. We ordered starters, mains and dessert and wine. All dishes were prepared with a view to regional tradition and products, excellent cooked and well lubricated. The wine was great, the dessert was a big finish. The service was very attentive, beautiful and inconspicuous. The ambience is simple and cuddly, but beautiful. Only criticism: In the beginning the air was really nicely smoked, which then led to an extended cough attack from my accompaniment. Maybe next time a little more ventilation. We also found that there were no homemade mayonnaise (or that a regional partner, but only a plastic bag. Then you'd rather have a homemade dip ö.ä.! Overall: meaningful concept from the series regionally seasonal (which should actually be the standard..., large small card, super beverage card! Very nice, unpredictable service that has answered our questions relaxed and competently. It was a round evening and we are very happy to come back even if the trip is a little longer.

All 4 of us ate the spare ribs and have to say that we ha... read more We went there for dinner last week with 4 adults. We were able to sit outside. The food was excellent. All 4 of us ate the spare ribs and have to say that we have never had such good spare ribs and there were plenty of them. The accompanying fries were also very good and the salad was fresh, tasty and had a great dressing. The service employee was very friendly, quick, attentive and competent. The drink suggestions were excellent. Afterwards we took two bottles of the Eifel gin with us ; . We 'll definitely be happy to come back, as the drive from Euskirchen isn 't that far. If you want to find a fly in the ointment, it is the unfortunately very limited opening times. However, this is due to the general problem of staff shortages in the restaurant industry and is not easily solvable for many people. From us, Recky 's Freistaat Eifel is a clear recommendation for anyone who would like to eat regionally and deliciously and is prepared to pay accordingly.
