All in all, it's okay. I was very happy to go to the Free State because last year on Facebook after the flood I saw how big people found the food in the pop-up restaurant. Qualitative and quantitative food is nothing to wish. It was found that the raw materials for eating are of very good quality. The tar was very tasty, even if I couldn't taste anything from the pear that should be processed there. The salad that came as a supplement was crisp and fresh, but the dressing we found a little fade sour. It was my parents when they had dinner with friends a few weeks ago. On the side table the salad remained half-seed. I had the Ribs and the meat was nicely juicy. The pommes were a little soft, but the sauces were very delicious. My accompaniment was satisfied with her food, but it found a little weakly seasoned. (Salt and pepper stood at the table. In the Rhabarber spray I couldn't find anything more tasty, more tasted for elder, but otherwise was delicious. The service was fine, the waiter was likely to work, and it was a little sad that he was only responsible for the service (even if the free state is relatively small. The side table was not cleaned until after departure. But the young man was otherwise very friendly and accommodating. Everything is fine, even expensive. By the way, I think that in 2016 the Free State faced the catering for a book-handle seminar in the bookstore, and that was really bombastic good. Luckily we could get a table for two at short notice and were very tense. A small and very cozy restaurant with incredibly friendly and attentive staff already half the rent. And the food is a class for itself... we have rarely eaten so well that I can only say good conscience. We decided to go to the appetizer for the Nettersheimer Knudeln and pumpkin soup, the main dish was with us both the cattle shoulders and the mousse au Chocolat. The food was a pleasure from the front to the back, the regional ingredients have already been mentioned enough, and the quality of the products and the preparation with heart blood is tasted. Quality has its price so it was not a cheap evening, but quite reasonable so that you want to visit the Free State of Eifel occasionally! We definitely come back!

All 4 of us ate the spare ribs and have to say that we have never had such good spare ribs and there were plenty of them. The accompanying fries were also very good and the salad was fresh, tasty and had a great dressing. The service employee was very friendly, quick, attentive and competent. The drink suggestions were excellent. Afterwards we took two bottles of the Eifel gin with us ; . We 'll definitely be happy to come back, as the drive from Euskirchen isn 't that far. If you want to find a fly in the ointment, it is the unfortunately very limited opening times. However, this is due to the general problem of staff shortages in the restaurant industry and is not easily solvable for many people. From us, Recky 's Freistaat Eifel is a clear recommendation for anyone who would like to eat regionally and deliciously and is prepared to pay accordingly.
