On holiday here in Spain we visited this family-style restaurant in the ‘Parador de Nerja’. This area is one that we passed-through on regular walks between Nerja and Burriana. There is a busy traffic island here, with several cafés, restaurants, retail businesses, plus a large international hotel located within the interconnected streets in this locale. We decided to call into this restaurant to see if it offered potential for halfway stop-off for a cup of coffee, or a drink of wine, and possibly a quick snack. The restaurant has a pleasant interior with an image of a large tree with pink-purple foliage covering some of the walls and most of the ceiling. Large TV screens were situated at each end of the restaurant. There is a large bar and servery, featuring a moderate and attractive refrigerated display of cakes and pastries. The bar was impressively stocked with a variety of liquors, on-tap beer and soft drinks. The coffee looked good too. The restaurant is on a corner; where a gathering of tables and chairs are placed on the pavement on both sides of the building, offering alfresco table-service. The wide pavement is often exploited to become a vibrant area thronging with families dining and socializing. The wine-list offered twelve red and six white wines, four sparkling wines (all Spanish), plus a Rosado (a French rosé wine). We chose a glass each of the ‘Pazo das Bruxas Albariño’. This was very pleasant; but not as much to our taste, when compared with the Albariño we enjoyed in other Nerja and Burriana bars. Service was kindly; a complimentary dish of crisps was provided. The menu offers an impressive range of snacks and main meals (the latter which looked spectacular from photos here on TA). We pre-planned much of our holiday dining, and with circa 700 restaurants in the Nerja area there wasn’t an opportunity to return here to dine. We do regret that and so, on a future visit, we will look to dine here.

A lovely place to watch the word go by. We had breakfast and an evening meal, good food reasonably priced with good service and great cocktails.
