The ribs were melt in the mouth and th... read more This place is a big hit with my kids. This visit we had the scarlettas burger huge), burger, steak and ribs in BBQ sauce. The ribs were melt in the mouth and the sauce delicious, the steak was huge and done in a peppercorn crust might leave that off next time) but it was very good, the scarlettas burger was a challenge and much chat went into how to approach it! The burger was tasty and loved the onion rings stuck under the bun! All accompanied by slightly over cooked small portion of fries. We were looking forward to the sharing brownie for dessert but unfortunately there was only 1 left which the two ladies split between them and was delicious. Decided to try the Lemon drizzle cake as an alternative and it was light moist and zesty, very tasty. All in all a good meal and will return when next in nerja! Service was quick and friendly, we were sitting in the restaurant for the first time rather than the terrace but there was a buzzy atmosphere and as it was a cool evening we were glad of the indoors!

It has always been a great meal, so wa... read more I have been to Scarlettas many times over the years, but for various reasons this was my first visit to Nerja since 2019. It has always been a great meal, so was keen to see if it was as good as ever. Even midweek in mid September it was busy, so I was glad we had booked a table on the terrace. The weather was threatening to turn a bit storm, but the food was superb. I think they were a little short staffed, but the team that was on were working hard to keep everyone happy. Brilliant as always.

Visited few times over the years and if you can’t get steak and chips right then there is little hope. Suspect the steak not up to scratch with the amount of seasoning used. Menu dated and food unappealing. Shame as met some real uk regulars who go nearly every night and they were uncomfortable with it now! You are not being fair to your lovely staff.. I believe there has been a management parting of the waves so the writing on the wall. Shake up or you will not be here and you had loyal customers, we spend money wisely.
