La Cueva - Nerja

Lovely cool bar in Capistrano Village. Food is very well prepared and served. English pub style food (I had the Friday cod and chips special) but if you're going to have English food, might as well have good food. In high season you'll need to book as it's usually very busy and walk-in's are not always possible.

Great place to call after a being in the centre of Nerja. We have been staying in the Village for 10 days. We have really enjoyed the people we have met in here. My 8 year old has loved watching the football in there in the evening. The prices are very reasonable and the bar staff are very helpful and welcoming

The layout, decor and atmosphere of this great wee find is just lovely! Karen and Nigel offer such warm hospitality and can honestly not do enough to make your experience a great one. The food is wholesome, home made and always good. Being a pescatarian we 've devoured chunky fish and crispy chips and the veggie lasagne was super tasty. The racks of ribs, Sunday roast dinners that were coming out of the kitchen tempted me to eat meat again (but I prevailed ; . Paco is very much worthy of the high praise of ' mi camarero favorito ' (and yes, he was very patient with my very poor Spanish and we had a few laughs at my expense. Definitely give this place a go if you 're in the area, and if you 're not, remember it 's only 7euro anywhere in Nerja by taxi.

This delightful restaurant and bar is now open on Saturday and Sunday for food! We went for the Sunday roast which was perfect a traditional English Sunday lunch with choices of roast beef roast chicken or the chef’s special ham cooked in cola we had the chicken and the beef with all the trimmings Yorkshire pudding and so many vegetables just delicious we especially like the swarrot and yummy mix of carrots and swede gorgeous puds too we had apple pie sticky and toffee pudding I had a the most delicious **** Mary too wishing you all much luck with this venture we can’t recommend it highly enough we will be back

Wow!! If you’re in Nerja you need to visit the food was amazing and the staff were brilliant!! We will definitely go again when we go back
