We walked to here from nerja. It was festival day in January. We went to this cafe for a couple of drinks which were absolutely fine and very reasonably priced. I have to emphasise that the staff were very helpful and friendly with us even though it was very busy. Good sitting watching the rockets being set off outside the church. What mgsnorwich doesn't like about Cafeteria Balcon De Maro:
A large number of people walk to Maro and back from Nerja along the old road and this cafe at Maro is an ideal place for a pit stop before returning. It is situated by the town square, next to the old church and there are plenty of chairs and tables in the shade of the square. Sitio sencillo con buenas vistas y comida casera bien elaborada.
Un buen lugar para detenerse al caminar. siempre esta abierto
Cima de la montaña en el pueblo blanco. Hermosa vista y comida sabrosa. Dulce servicio.
Terraza espectacular con vistas para desayunar. Los bocadillos y tostadas muy buenos. El café mejorable y no me gustó que el zumo de naranja sea de botellita. Por lo demás, perfecto.
Nos asustamos con las reseñas, pero la verdad que hemos pedido unos calamares a la romana y una ensalada cesar y han estado muy buenas. El precio dentro de la zona.
