Came today for lunch with my boyfriend. We had a savoury muffin, scone with jam and cream, he had the teriyaki beef salad and I had the vegan curry puff. All delicious. The service and all the staff were great. They’re all so friendly. I recommend the Lavender and Chamomile tea! Will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Island Cafe:
Extremely irritating sitting inside the cafe. Besides the noise of the coffee machine and general clatter of dishes, the radio was blearing and we had to keep asking them to turn it down as we (group of 5) couldn't hear our conversation. It was a cold day which is why we sat indoors. Lovely fresh scones with jam and cream. Would only sit outside next time weather permitting. View all feedback.

Pleasant owner and employee out here. Personality even makes the coffee taste better. Old fashion atmosphere with quality in every respect.
One of the best coffee houses on the coast, my number one goes! Great tasting coffee and treats in a relaxed environment with a friendly smile.
