Sushi train is my favorite sushi place! Love the atmosphere, the service and of course the food. If you are on a budget you can certainly eat for cheap, though we always end up spending heaps because we can't resist. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi Train Nerang:
This sushi train has good quality sushi, but it's heavily adjusted to their perception of local taste. Nearly all of it is full of mayonnaise and I even found sun dried tomatoes in a beef sushi. Not very Japanese. If uou wsnt real sushi you have to order and that defeats the purpose ifcthe train. View all feedback.
A group of four adults and two children went to the restaurant tonight to celebrate a birthday. Once we were seated, we noticed that the sushi train did three rotations without offering anything we were interested in. Most of the plates had only one piece each. Eventually, we ordered our favorite dishes - salmon, avocado, tuna, and avocado rolls. However, they only came with three tiny pieces each, as thin as a piece of chalk. The dumplings were cold and our green teas were charged individually. After finishing our plates, we left the restaurant still feeling hungry and frustrated by the high prices. Despite having been loyal customers since the restaurant opened, we have decided not to return.
This restaurant is very popular and has a high volume of customers, but the sushi is always fresh and delicious! The staff is friendly and the service is good. You may have to wait a little for a table, but the wait for a seat at the bar is not too long.
Was very disappointed in the quality and service, It was quite on a Friday.I ordered a Chicken Karaage bowl which is it was so small with the smallest amount of rice. The sushi was messy. My friend ordered she wasnt happy because it was...messy and very little on and in the serve, she asked for a new roll with more fish eggs, the waiter and chef were laughing and talking then gave her another plate from the same batch with even less fish eggs and then began laughing and talking. Rude... so RUDE!!All the manager said was Oh and nodded, as she didnt understand what my friend said which was more annoying.
We have visited this restaurant a number of times over the years. It is getting better all the time and is very crowded especially at weekends. The variety is very good with a fairly large selection for the Gold Coast suburban area like Nerang. Great !
Been coming here for years, has always been good. However recently prices have increased and portion size has droped dramatically food quality is still good but wont be a regular anymore.
