Had one of the best pub meals ever Great service and competitive pricing We had a birthday dinner for my son. The beef ribs were awesome.

Recommended by hotel reception, we took the short drive for dinner. A reasonable selection of pub classics with specials on offer. My partner's parmigiana arrived as a schnitzel only, but this was quickly rectified by the kitchen. My steak arrived exactly as ordered. Veggies were...a little on the soft side but still tasty. Polite and efficient service. Perfect for a casual meal, mid-range pricing.

Until yesterday the last time I had dined at the Hinterland was in February this year. I felt I had no need to return. However, yesterday was a totally different experience. I was with a large group and our meals were served expediently and at...the same time. They had also noted our names when we ordered which made it much easier to deliver the meals to each of us. The food was really enjoyable. I opted for the rissoles, mash and fresh veg with gravy which was from the seniors menu. It was delicious and very filling. The staff were excellent. Efficient and friendly. It will now become a regular dining venue for myself and friends.

Nice surroundings and service Very good menu. Bar staff not too hot but food is good. Pity they stopped using Shop a Docket.
