We visited here on Sunday for lunch. All the classic pub favourites on offer in a very classic pub environment Fabulous friendly staff and live music. The pub is very traditional style which could do with a makeover if they want to attract a different...crowd. There is a motel attached with a pool that has a great outdoor seating area. What Greta Goyette doesn't like about Advancetown Hotel:
Ordered hot chips and took nearly an hour to get to us. I know they were busy but honestly how long does it take to cook some hot chips and get them out even if busy. Asked if we could mix up plain hot chips...with the sweet potato ones and got a straight NO even though I have had them there before no problems. Also much smaller servings this time too. The restaurant offers generous portions of food and is quite peaceful. They even have a pool for hot days. The prices are very reasonable and it's worth the drive. The staff is friendly and we will definitely be back.
Fantastic music, nice location slightly removed from the city center, free of pretentiousness, perfect spot to hang out and grab a few drinks with friends.
Wow what a difference ! Awesome food, much cleaner and made to feel welcome. This place is awesome for a Sunday session with live bands and a dip in the pool to cool off, the kids love it ! Would highly recommend this traditional pub.
Awesome place for whole family to chill, have some drinks, have a swim, listen to the talent on sundays, enjoy a 5star meal and warm welcoming vibes!! Love this place
Had a drink and meal at the pub - relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A nice blend of customers, and the food was fantastic. The spring rolls were impressively large and very delicious.
