Description

Tucked away in a vibrant neighborhood, this family-owned restaurant has become the focal point of mixed reviews. While some patrons rave about its unique blend of Spanish flavors with typical bagel fare—highlighting delicious arepas, empanadas, and satisfying coffee—others express disappointment over a perceived decline in quality and service. Complaints include high prices for modest portions and unprofessional staff interactions. Despite some negative experiences, many visitors appreciate the warm atmosphere and welcoming proprietors, making it a notable spot for those seeking both comfort food and a personal touch. However, diners may want to compare options for a more fulfilling meal.

I absolutely adore this place! I had a craving for a BLT and stumbled upon this gem. It's officially my new favorite lunch spot! It's family-owned, and the owners are such wonderful people. Every visit has been a fantastic experience, and the food is delicious. Also, for those with dietary restrictions, they can make their shakes dairy-free!

My wife and I recently discovered this restaurant, and we were incredibly impressed. The food is outstanding, especially the rice and beans. The family that runs the place is extremely welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Honest opinion, I feel like this place is a bit overhyped and the prices don’t help out with how the food comes out at times. I go there for breakfast a lot but almost 9 dollars for a bacon egg and cheese ???? lol like wat! And they’re sandwiches are somewhat light and not as heavy as most bagel places. I’d say save yourself a bit of and hit bagel talk up if you want a fat juicy packed sandwich. Had the potatoes and hashbrowns from here too and I’ve never had it taste so bland. Just a lot better places around for breakfast food. It is family owned so that could be it too.
