I absolutely love this restaurant! My family has been coming here for years, and the staff is always so friendly and funny. They’ve never once messed up my order. I always enjoy chatting with the guys at the drive-thru—they never fail to make me laugh. The food is quite tasty, too; the fried fish is fantastic—always fresh and piping hot, even if it's a bit greasy. But hey, that’s part of the charm! View all feedback.
LJS locations seem to be disappearing throughout the Midwest. While it's definitely not health food, I still find myself craving the delicious battered and fried whitefish every month. The restaurant is incredibly accommodating. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was between $50 and $100. The food received a perfect score of 5, as did the service and atmosphere. I recommend trying the fish fillets, chicken planks, hush puppies, coleslaw, and clams.
