Great ambience, very good food and friendly staff. A hike there is definitely recommended, but also those who are not so good to walk can go to the castle by car. From the castle you have a magnificent view of the magnificent nature. The castle offers special programs, where I could not yet participate, because these are constantly booked. If you want to brunch or make a knight's meal there, register early. The prices are absolutely fine for what you get.

Historical place that connects Thuringia and Hesse. Very interesting castle tour. You can go around the castle. Here the cake is baked and served warm. And the hearty food is also recommended. Overall a highly recommended excursion destination.
Who wants to sniff the scent of the past is here. This applies especially to the foods offered here, it was very good. I also liked the outdoor area, the garden all the way around. In addition, the connection to the P18, really very beautiful. I want to come back.
Really classic castle from the 14th Century, it is worth visiting, only open on weekends but good to see from outside.
