Great place to take breakfast. They offer an excellent variety of Benny eggs. I tried the mango avocado and my friend the salmon benny. Excellent service and atmosphere. View all feedback.
What Art Dietrich doesn't like about Port701 Marinaside Dining Lounge:
Ordered the Steelhead trout. They were out. Waitress recommended the Tiger Roll. When it finally arrived, it had way too much mayo for my liking. The 'tempura ' batter on the Ling Cod tasted more like the coating on a corn dog. Not worth the trip. View all feedback.
Kitchen is SLOW. Eggs benedict sauce was cold. Avocado was overripe and tasted bad....Servers are pleasant? The waterfront location is pleasant when the weather cooperates.

Best patio in town because it's the only waterfront one. Had sushi for lunch, the tiger roll and a couple tuna nigiri. It was good and fresh, very expensive and no where near worth paying that much for and the service was terrible as it always is and is always expected. Going there is only for the views and never about the food or service. They just never seem to ever get that a restaurant is about great food and service. If it wasn't for their waterfront patio I'd never go there again. Such a waste of a beautiful space.
So far we're really bummed with the new menu (apparently it changed a few months ago. The old menu had a great poke bowl and the best beef dip sandwich I'd had. The new menu cut the beef dip. There is still a poke bowl but we didn't try it to see if it had changed. My husband ordered the bento box and it was really disappointing- deep fried prawns, the tiniest bit of spinach salad and 4 pieces of a mediocre California roll. It came with big blocks of tofu, not the chicken stated on the menu. The side miso was so tiny and was flavourless. It was more like a $15 meal, not worth the $28 we paid. I had the mussels and they were good but the sauce was so salty I could barely eat it.I love the patio, that's why my husband and I tend to go there when we get a night out but we're not happy with the new menu, at least after the last visit.
Nice dining area outside for breakfast. Service was so so along with the food. Pay resort prices but if you skip house keeping they give you a $10 voucher.
