The Monaco Kitchen - Nelson

What a gem! We were fortunate to walk in without a reservation, thanks to the incredibly friendly American staff. The food was outstanding, and the service was both efficient and welcoming. The view of the pond and the harbor was beautiful. I would love to return and try more dishes! I highly recommend this place, but make sure to book in advance if large groups are not filling the seats.

I really enjoyed the service and the generous portions of food. My husband couldn't get enough of the lamb; it was so tender it practically fell off the bone. The seasoning was perfect! Absolutely amazing!

The staff here are very friendly, and the location is fantastic. You can choose to dine indoors or outdoors, and they offer a variety of options, including coffee, snacks, and main meals. There's also a giant chess set to enjoy!

Excellent Braised Beef Short Rib. Waited a little long for the food though. Nice relaxed atmosphere, good service.

Pretty average experience to be honest, slow service, slow food, orders and bill screwed up and being told that they are out of a dish when they are supposed to be bringing it out. Only thing saving it from a one star was the food itself.
