We stopped for dinner on our way to the movies and were impressed with the super friendly service. Our meals came out quickly after mentioning our plans, with my wife opting for the chowder, which she often orders when dining out. She was thrilled with how it was prepared and even mentioned it was the best she's ever had. I enjoyed the lambs fry and bacon as well. We had time for dessert and were equally impressed with those options. Well done, guys!
Being locals in Stoke, we were surprised that we had never been to this restaurant for breakfast before. While it's a great spot to enjoy a cold beer in the sun, we decided to try their food. Arriving at 9am, we found a perfect spot outside to enjoy our breakfast. I ordered the Squires Big Breakfast, which included hash browns, mushrooms, tomato, bacon, sausages, and 2 eggs on ciabatta toast. It was a decent sized meal and everything was cooked perfectly. The bacon was delicious and crispy, and the poached eggs were done just right. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict with Bacon, and the hollandaise sauce was very tasty. The eggs were also cooked perfectly, with a nice runny yolk. We topped off our meal with a delicious flat white coffee and left very satisfied. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who were quick, efficient, and reasonably priced. If you're a fan of good food and sunshine, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
We have visited this restaurant before for breakfast and had a great experience. The service was cheerful and quick. This time, we came for a business meeting over coffee. Though it was busy, it wasn't noisy. We were promptly served and were able to have a conversation without being disturbed. The menu had a nice variety of items and the coffee was delicious. It's definitely worth a visit to this popular local spot.
