The falafels are enjoyable and nourishing. I particularly appreciate them because no microwave ovens are used to heat the falafel balls, which are grilled fresh immediately after ordering. A healthy lunch-time meal! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Falafel Gourmet:
I wouldn't say the choice is overwhelming... there's 1 vegetarian falafel available, and there's no vegan version of the sauce which makes it rather dry. I didn't found it that cheap either, for just a simple falafel, but I guess that's NZ for you. That said, it was pretty delicious. Would be great if the owner looks into some vegan sauce replacements! View all feedback.
Very tasty falafel pita and platter that can be made vegan without yoghurt, but with hummus, tahini and chili/tomato sauce.

Absolutely delicious. Fresh and packed full of falafel and salads and sauces Often my lunch of choice as I work in Nelson. Staff always friendly.
Friendly staff. Shared platter with my non-vegan dad who ate the feta and joghurt dip. The rest was vegan and super tasty. Also had a nice coffee with almond milk
As others have said great to drop in for a quick vegan pitta (just “falafel pitta” on the menu) without having to make any special considerations. Reasonably priced and very filling for a meal.
