Le Vendome at Charela Inn - Negril

We ate at Charela last year and were very happy with the food and service. This year the experience was different. We found the waitresses impatient, rushed almost rude. It was Valentine's Day but there were plenty of empty tables so it didn't appear overly busy but the waitresses were short and disconnected when asked about the menu. The local word on the street and the occupancy rate indicates happy returning customers however we are unlikely to return. Either management allowed short staffing or training has declined. Just one opinion but often this gets spread through the snow bird community

My husband and I and our good friends another married couple really enjoyed our visit there. We went on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed the Jazz Blues performance. We will definitely return

Beautiful location in the position to see and hear ozean, eating is excellent with a French flare 2 nights per week has free music and dancing always go when in the city

Silvester when we came there and who gave our name for the reservation, she quickly said that there is no reservation in this name. she didn't see it up, she just said there was no reservation. she sat down and we waited for 30 minutes for someone who comes to our table and then they asked us what we wanted to order. we told them that they can see that we don't have menus. we got the menus and placed our drink order, but that took so long we asked to order our food. the food lasted 2 hours to arrive and was tasteless. the snapper was over boiled and the cocos taste was missing, which was supposed to be the sosse. the linguini lobster was tasteless and had 5 small lobster pieces. a total negative experience.
