The food was fantastic! Even though we arrived quite late, the staff was very accommodating and made us feel welcome.

The hostess said we didn’t have a reservation even though I had my OpenTable app confirmation and the email confirmation for the reservation I made 6.5 hours prior. Then kept saying, I don’t know, I don’t know…still like it was my fault our name wasn’t written with pen on her paper. I reassured her that we were fine waiting. Bar cocktails were excellent. Kids had a Shirley temple and were connected to the Wi-Fi from our last trip so they were happy while waiting. Server was attentive and personal. We are repeat guests because we love the atmosphere and food. Personally, I love the coconut chicken!

Enjoyed our meal of pepperpot soup, ackee patties, chicken curry with roti (bit dry) and rice (scrumptious). The bones on the chicken are a nuisance. The sweet potato pudding was delicious although the rum raisin ice cream was overly sweet. The patties could have been less greasy perhaps not fried in oil that was hot enough. The best part was the ambience, the dark and stormy and the sunset spritzer!
