The restaurant itself is beautifully hidden in a spacious garden and seems very welcoming and charming. Unfortunately that’s the only good thing. Our server seemed unmotivated and was even unprepared about the menu for example didn’t know the catch of the day . We all ordered pasta and gnocchi as the first course. Usually you can’t do anything wrong with pasta BUT mine was swimming in lemon sauce. After I asked for pasta with less lemon they brought me a new plate with plain pasta swimming in butter and a sprinkle of Benito Flakes. At this point I was too hungry to complain again.My friends gnocchi had also frozen shrimps in them you expect fresh scampi from a restaurant that is mentioned in the Michelin Guide . Additionally we asked for a wine pairing with the food. Without any explanation about the wine which you would also expect in a wine region the waiter brought a white and red wine and poured the glasses. After the dinner we were more or less ignored by the waiters and waited almost 30 minutes for the check even though we asked many times. To sum up the experience: Really nice ambience. No focus on good service and mediocre food.

The chef and his team are just wonderful,... read more The most wonderful experience, whilst touring Europe we picked out this restaurant whilst visiting the Amarone region. The chef and his team are just wonderful, so friendly, the restaurant is lovely inside, tables spread out nicely, as soon as we arrived we were sat with a welcome glass of their own rose, the food was superb, tuna cooked to perfection. After the meal we were treated to a look in their cellar and sampled some stunning Amarone, they also let me serve my own straight from the barrel, an experience I will never forget. Thank you. We purchased a good number of bottles, and to finish the waiter kindly drove the bottles back to our motorhome down the road, we had such a great fun night. Highly recommend. Chef came out and we had a lovely photo too thank you Chef Diego.

Complementary glass of sparkling rose to start, selection of home made bread was excellent, primi, secondi and desert were all wonderful. Great atmosphere service is professional and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely best to book. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
