Today I was able to find one of the top places in negombo. the restaurant of the lords. from the menu to eat is everything in front of location. Even the owners of the restaurant came and greeted us what is very nice to do. for the very good customer service contact the personal contact. can also not forget to eat the cook. can join for live music. they can also cure a free fish foot and hand. very well cleaned and very spacious. the parking space is also available. they can visit the website and receive more information on their FB page. it is open until 11 o'clock. Look at this, they won't be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

They also serve cold beers, but the best part of the experience is the staff. They are so friendly and accommodating. A special shout out to Ellie - you are amazing! Thank you for all the great advice on Sri Lanka. We will definitely be back before the end of our trip.

During that time, the restaurant has transformed from being very good to exceptional. Despite the challenges of Covid-19 (which we assume led to its closure), our experience was nothing short of fabulous. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the welcoming atmosphere, to the extensive menu, friendly and professional staff, and exquisite food, every detail was top-notch. The live band playing appropriate music at the perfect volume added to the overall experience. Additionally, we were impressed by the owners' dedication to animal charity and climate change issues. Lords Restaurant takes great care in providing an exceptional dining experience that offers great value for money. We plan to return once or twice during our holiday in Sri Lanka.

The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was friendly, happy, and helpful, and the food was absolutely superb. We highly recommend this place and enjoyed it immensely. We even returned for a second visit during our week-long trip.

Our food was served in coconut shells which I personally did not like but it's a tourist attraction. All was good until we received our bill. We knew it would be pricey. The printout was in very faint ink so they write the total price in ink and ring it for you. SCAM ALERT.... I used the flashlight on my phone to check the price and they had substituted 12,000 for 21,000 which we almost paid. When I realised, I complained and I was asked what the problem was. I told the waiter who just shrugged it off. The other waiters could see I was not happy and asked why. I told them and one of them even laughed. As soon as I mentioned TripAdvisor, the top man working was called. He said it was just a easy mistake and the barman was new. When I asked to see the manager he said it was not a problem and he was not working and we could have a free drink on the house. I declined and left and I want other customers to be made aware of this scam.

The fries and onion rings... read more We tried the Vegan Burger and Mushroom Burger at this restaurant, but we were disappointed as they lacked flavor and were quite bland. The fries and onion rings also tasted like fried oil. However, we enjoyed the mojito mocktail and the live music in the evening. Based on other positive reviews, it may be worth trying the Sri Lankan food instead. (Updated from a previous review on March 21, 2024)
