Applebee's Grill - Neenah

The experience was just okay. I ordered a pint but received a larger size by mistake. It was strange, but not a big deal. Our food was good, but our server never came back to check on us. The table next to us waited so long that they had to call the restaurant to remind them they were waiting for their check. The table behind me was checked on multiple times while we were ignored. Overall, the service was lacking and I'm not sure if I should even give them 2 stars. The chef did cook the food well though, so I'll give credit for that.

Ordering online was convenient. However, the service at the restaurant was terrible. I was not greeted upon arrival and several staff members walked past me without acknowledging me. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen to check on my pick up order. Unfortunately, my food was slightly cold by the time I returned to my hotel, which is only 4 minutes away. In addition, my burger was undercooked. I will not be stopping at this restaurant during my next visit to Appleton. I am confident I can find a better burger and service elsewhere.

I visited this restaurant with my family of 8 at 5:30pm on February 19th and was extremely disappointed with the service. Our waitress seated us, took our order, served our drinks and food, but did not check on us at all, despite our request for a plate for the baby. We had to wait 20 minutes for the plate to arrive. There were dirty dishes on our table throughout the meal and the waitress only returned when it was time to bring us the bill. It took a long time for her to collect our credit cards and an equally long time to return them. Even when someone came to clear our plates, they did not acknowledge our gratitude. For a $100 bill, we left a $5 tip due to the poor service. The food was typical of Applebee's, with no major complaints, but the lack of good service overshadowed the meal experience. If the staff wants to earn more, they should focus on improving their service, as it goes beyond just serving food and presenting the bill. This experience has left me unsure if I will return to this restaurant. Overall, very disappointing.
