Lovely restaurant in the beautiful Lied Lodge. The food is locally sourced and many choices prepared gluten free. The pot roast and shrimp risotto were excellent and so were our cocktails. View all feedback.

The drink menu was also just okay.Overall, I wouldn't recommend coming here due to the high prices and slow service.
The Timbers restaurant has an attached bar and lounge with open seating and a full menu. They also have a few sandwich selections on their bar-only menu, so I ordered the chicken Caprese sandwich with a side salad. My parents ordered (and split) a French dip style sandwich with onion rings, and they loved it. Both meals were expertly prepared and very delicious. The staff members were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the relatively quiet ambiance near the fireplace, with an occasional cheer from the patrons when the Huskers scored during the game. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
Beautiful ambiance, great server Devin, and exquisite fine dining. Ribeye and chicken parmco. COKE products YEAH!
It is a beautiful venue. I hadn't been for nearly twenty years, when our kids were still small. Back then, the trees were also on the small side. Now the trees have matured (not sure about our kids) and provide a beautiful entrance and a lot of shaded parking. The food, although very good, is probably not up to the prices charged for it. That being said, I'm also old enough to remember 50¢ hamburgers, so my whole world seems to be a bit off kilter.
We just happened to be driving through town on our way to Kansas and decided to stop here for lunch. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant is nice but there aren't enough tables to sit by the windows and enjoy the view. The food is good enough but way over-priced. The menu is small and the wait for our food was long.
