Johnnys corner cafe - NEBRASKA CITY

My family and I went to Johnny's for lunch today. We had a new waitress, which we could tell because another employee informed us. Unfortunately, the waitress forgot to bring my dad his coffee, so my mom had to get it herself. However, when she did, an employee snapped at her. Additionally, when my sister's food arrived, her hashbrowns did not have shredded cheese as she had requested. When she sent it back, they refused to make it with shredded cheese as requested, claiming that the owner had refused. The chicken strips were also not up to par. When my mom spoke to the owner about our experience, she yelled at her in front of everyone and refused to make any adjustments to our bill. Overall, the service was poor and the food was subpar. I have worked in the service industry before and I would never treat my customers in such a rude manner. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The service was impeccable, with attentive waitstaff that made sure my water glass was never empty and my food was served promptly. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly to my liking and the sides were delicious. The only downside was the price, as this place is definitely on the more expensive side. Overall, a great dining experience for a special occasion.

Additionally, my sister's order of hashbrowns with shredded cheese was incorrect, and when she asked for it to be fixed, some employees claimed that the owner refused to do so. The chicken strips were also not up to par. When my mother addressed these issues with the owner, she ended up crying and refused to make things right, claiming that we complained about everything. As someone who has worked as a waitress before, I believe that customer service should always come first. The owner's behavior was unprofessional and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
