On recommendation from restaurant guides we were there for the first time on Sunday noon. Ambience and food were really something special, but the good impression was greatly affected by the operation. After working in many high-class restaurants in Germany and abroad, and as a skilled cook for over 30 years, I have been able to form a qualified opinion and was shocked by what was offered to me here: The fresh fish was clearly cheaper sea salmon imported as TK goods from Northern Europe/ Scandinavia, sadly if you have to use this as a restaurant directly on the North Sea. In addition, he was barely fried and more was cooked to death in a combination steam device, so he was soft but still dry. I just think there is a lack of the necessary expertise in the kitchen. Schnitzel was also cheap TK goods and too dark roasted. The potato salad was clearly out of the bucket, which is okay if you don't sell it as homemade, because that's just fraud. A look into the open kitchen then confirmed to 100% my suspicion, everywhere piping, cans, buckets, cartons with finished products. The old lady who cared for us in the service unfortunately had a terrible mood and was very unfriendly and permanently annoyed. In my opinion, it doesn't fit to pick up 20-30€ for main dishes, but then the service in a black sling shirt brings the food to the table lustlessly as if it were just standing up for a TV break from the sofa. The only light-view was another, somewhat younger, service power that later tried to sell us desserts and schnapps, which was much more friendly than her colleague and was much more competent. All in all, everything was very amateurish, In the kitchen stood a master and a young lady who obviously both did not learn the profession of the cook, the same meets, as I said, mostly also on the service to, shame to the great location and the nice old Friesenhaus

It was not only unfriendly, but instead placed us glass and bottle of yeast wheat unmistakably on the table, as was the water with the glass: self-service was required. At today's visit, she sent us out of the restaurant without greeting: most preferably only outside, although we asked for a place in the shade. The interior was empty at that time! We then decided to invest our money in a nearby restaurant where we were friendly and excellently hosted. Too bad, for cook and owner: so guests do not come again despite all the cooking.
