Since 2009 we regularly visit the opposite for mountain bike. every trip we make sure we have a meal from here. the quality, quantity and price is fantastic. for a group of up to 13 people we never paid more than £100 and never had a disappointing meal. highly recommended.

The rice was moist and mushy, as though it had been frozen and reheated in the microwave. The Biryani lacked flavor.

The service is absolutely deplorable. I called to check on my order that was way over the specified delivery time, and was met with a rude who subsequently hung up the phone during me enquiring about where my order was. The same thing happened AGAIN when I called for the second time. The low hygiene rating alone is reason enough to STAY AWAY from this place. They deserved to be shut for good. Tiny men with anger issues should not run businesses

If I had a choice I would give NO STAR RATING!!!!. On the 7/4/20 I placed an order through FOODHUB! 2 hours later I was still waiting so I phoned the TAJ MAHAL only to be told (WE DON'T DELIVER TO YOU, IT.S TO FAR) so I explained I had already paid and was told the order would be canceled and the funds would not leave my account!, just had my statement and the funds have been taken out!!!! I contacted them only to be told (WE CAN'T REMEMBER AND IT'S TO LATE AS ITS ALMOST BEEN A MONTH).... This is not good enough AND NOTHING BUT UNETHICAL TRADING. A RIP OFF.. BE VERY CAREFUL....

I was working in the area and decided to try out another local Indian restaurant. I ordered the mixed grill with tandoori lamb chops. Overall, I found the dish to be a bit bland, and I suspect it may have been precooked and reheated rather than freshly cooked. The chicken lacked that authentic tandoori flavor, and the dish was missing the spice and flavor that I was looking for. However, I really enjoyed the seekh kebab, which had a great taste and texture. The naan bread was also delicious, with a well-seasoned flavor that I couldn't get enough of. While I wasn't completely impressed, the value for money was good, and I would consider returning in the future.
