Fortune House - Neath Port Talbot

I recently tried Fortune House in Skewen for the first time and was very impressed. The chicken dish we had was absolutely delicious and not too spicy, which was perfect for my children. We ordered a hoi sin curry, chicken fried rice, and a simple chow mein without vegetables for delivery and we were not disappointed. The curry was flavorful and my children loved the noodles. At first, I was unsure about the yellow color of the curry, as it reminded me of korma, but we ended up really enjoying it. We used to frequent the now-closed New Dragon in Neath for years, but now we have found a great alternative Chinese restaurant in Fortune House. I would definitely order from here again.

We have tried many Chinese takeout restaurants in Neath, and this one is the best along with Red Dragon, which unfortunately recently closed. The food here is always delicious and fresh. I always order and gather where it tastes so fast and fresh. The duck with black bean sauce is amazing with tender fillet pieces, and I always order an extra hot spicy curry to go with the delicious chicken curry. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times now and each experience has been fantastic. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The portions are generous compared to other places - the curry containers are large and the chicken balls are huge. I only had one issue when my curry sauce was delivered without the egg, but it was quickly resolved without any problems. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will continue to dine here in the future.

Excellent quality eat, but if they wait before ordering for collection, they get a collection time, they are almost always waiting for another 25-30 minutes, while the phone orders seem to fly through the door!

1st time ordering from this place last night and I was very very pleased with how quick the food was delivered and how tasty it was ! And the best part about it for me is that the food was actually piping hot once it was delivered ! One thing I hate the most is a cold takeaway ! So it's a big thumbs up from me and will be ordering again in the future
