More than a good experience: two of us ordered Popia Tod (rolls), Saté khai (skewers of marinated chicken with curry) accompanied by a spectacular peanut sauce... read more More than a good experience: two of us ordered Popia Tod (rolls), Saté khai (skewers of marinated chicken with curry) accompanied by a spectacular peanut sauce (I expected it to be difficult to digest but no), Kao Pad (without sauce soy), lastly but not least Kaeng Daeng Khai with accompanying rice. Starting from the rolls, forget about those frozen stuff typical of the 3/4 of places that serve Middle Eastern cuisine: never eaten rolls with such a crumbly pastry as the Popia Tod; the chicken skewers are light and have a curry soul which gives them a particular and savory flavour; the kao pad (we have commonly renamed it Cantonese risotto due to its similarity with local rice) without soy sauce is equally good and tasty; finally the chicken with bamboo spicy but very edible with white rice: it was a new flavor and was much appreciated, even when paired with unseasoned rice to contrast the mix of seasonings on the chicken. Open kitchen which is very pleasant to see (among other things, compliments for the cleanliness of the environment). Products whose quality evidently lies in the raw materials they use. Service is not very fast but, on a Friday evening, it is more than acceptable, since everything is freshly prepared. Very kind staff: they saw us on the motorbike and stapled the bag and protected the chicken with cellophane. Spent €34 as a couple, very honest bill! Chef, don 't worry, your rice Cantonese risotto!!!
