The best restaurant I ate in Italy. Family business that will make you live a true Neapolitan experience. The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, the incredible attention of Mrs. Pina, whose passion and Neapolitan hospitality was palpable in every interaction. The fresh homemade pastas are the strong point of this place Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Daniel Orzelek doesn't like about La Torre:
TO DEFINITELY AVOID Non-existent service, dirty place, mediocre food. We went in to eat something before taking the ferry, attracted by the €8 cuoppo and spritz and limoncello written outside the restaurant. From the outside the place looks like a typical trattoria, so it wouldn 't look bad. 20 minutes of lunch for an unjustifiable €38. 2 cuoppi €8 (therefore €16) and two spritzes. END The explanation was €4 cover ch... View all feedback.
€150 for 3 first courses, 3 second courses, wine and tiramisu, scammed but very badly, stay away, bad publicity for a city like Naples, with so many good people. The staff is friendly, but be careful. Price per person: €50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

END The explanation was €4 cover charge, non-existent because they didn 't bring bread and they took away napkins and cutlery and €8 per spritz, which not even in Michelin guide restaurants. We arrived at the time of lunch for the Italian breakfast but the employees were very nice, attentive and gentle we took a coffee and a tiramisù and that was great! coffee was tastiest as usual in Naples but tiramisù was a heaven it was a sweet of a day, prepared in the moment, the cream very delicate, biscuites still crunchy My strong recommendation ! Service: Dine in
We went for lunch as soon as we arrived from Rome. The place is poorly maintained and does not shine for cleanliness! The guy who served us was quite hospitable. The fixed menu chosen by us was composed of 2 first courses of our choice (we chose the pasta with potatoes but it was bland) two second courses of our choice between 1 sausage and grilled vegetables of our choice or 1 pork rib with grilled vegetables of our choice. 1 water or a glass of house red (very limited wine) €20 per person!!. Nothing special... surely the managers are good people but I will never go there again!!
After a long walk, attracted by the external advertisements of the restaurant, we stopped to eat in 2. The place was completely empty. They insist on making menus of 20 per person but the choice chosen will be very limited and not corresponding to the external list. First gnocchi Sorrento style with Sardinian gnocchi.... Second very simple grilled pork cutlet with scapece courgettes when we asked for fried.... 1 water, 2 pepsi instead of wine included, 2 pieces of tiramisu €47. Very disappointed with the place and the treatment. Maybe my non-Neapolitan accent had an influence? We were also asked for cash.
