What Mike Mustermann doesn't like about Virage Café:
Had two cocktails and garlic bread. The Caipirinha was the smallest we've ever had: a half-full 0.2 liter glass, most of which was ice cubes and a lemon wedge. One sip and everything was gone. Went here twice for happy hour. Large selection of cocktails, good quality for 5€/cocktail. Great music and relaxed atmosphere. Not too touristy. There are chess and backgammon boards. Had 2 lovely evenings! Atmosphere: 5
In the middle of August, a super nice bar, quiet with good music. The top of this bar, remains the BARMAN, who makes you tip top cocktails. Every night of our vacation, we come from 6 p.m. for happy hour. We think the bartender's name is Jean-Pierre, in fact, we don't know, but he has a face to be called JP, a good guy. This was our regular after morning runs and walks on the beach. The owner (we think) was wonderful and made fantastic coffees and omelets. He put on the World Cup for us. He also played great music, very eclectic, and had games for those who enjoy some competition with your coffee or cocktails. A very relaxed and open space. Beautiful to match the magic of Galatas! Awesome cocktail, great, top notch! From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. cocktails are €5 and as if that wasn't enough, the cocktail menu is 4 pages long!!! The boss is a perfect master of his subject, I recommend 100 times! Ps: Too bad for the roadside terrace but we can't have everything. Meal type: Other Price per person: €5–10
