There are two O Giannis taverns (owned by the same person) and we chose the one in the village, in the magical square. There was a big tree which was cut down due to force majeure. The kitchen opens at 20:00 but people get a table earlier. So it is good, on peak days, to go earlier to be seated. Everything we ate was excellent. Especially the first two signature dishes of chefs that you will find only at Giannis. View all feedback.

The place is really nice, we had dinner outside, really pleasant! Here I ate one of the best moussakas I have tried in my many trips to Greece. Very good meat. Unfortunately, the dishes were all served together, even hot. I bill with surprise because unfortunately, our fault, when we checked again when we left, there was a starter listed for 12 euros the one ordered was 7 . Check and always ask if there are any doubts, a mistake can happen. We asked for a typical liqueur at the end of the meal, unfortunately the grappa ? served wasn't that great. But they were nice and offered it to them, as well as the watermelon at the end of the meal. Highly recommended, with a few caveats. Average prices for the island, 2 starters, one meat, one moussaka, water and beer 51 euros. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €25–30

Super nice place, and very welcoming, excellent food.
We came from Crete. People are awesome in everything! Local tasty traditional huge dishes! And good local wine!
