One of the best courses in Leland! The grounds are beautiful and it's a challenging course to say the least. Only reason it's not 5 star is bc it can be a little expensive for some of the upkeep issues. Otherwise a great afternoon of golf. View all feedback.
As of May 1st this course is private. Only members can make tee times. Guests may play with a member up to six rounds a year.

Played golf here for the first time while vacationing in the area. The course was in excellent shape, particularly the greens and tee boxes. The course is beautifully designed. One nice feature is you don't see other golfers besides those playing infront or back of you since the holes are spread out. I played from the blues and the forced carries weren't too bad, with thelongest being about 200 yards. You can lose a lot of balls here if you don't hit it straight. There are many water features butunfortunately the water falls weren't turned on when we were there. Not sure why but they have you pick up range balls at thebag drop off area, which I thought was strange since the driving range is a far distance from that area. Seems like they don'twant people practicing too much on the range. The practice areas were very nice and large. One of my main gripes for a coursethis nice is that the carts don't have GPS. I've never been to a course of this caliber that hasn't spent the extra money forthis. I'd guess they get many out-of-towners playing, and without a GPS app of some kind, it is easy to not know where to hitthe ball. The two staff I interacted with weren't terribly friendly and presented as though they don't like their jobs. I would, however, definitely play here again because of the interesting course design. The homes in the area aren't super close to thecourse so they don't really impact the aesthetics. The main issue is ongoing construction, so particularly playing during theweek could be a bit obnoxious. The area is pretty quiet, however, and you should enjoy your round.
Loved this course. Beautiful scenery. Tee boxes in great shape. Greens absolutely perfect. You will spend some time in the sand, there's plenty. The clubhouse is Beautiful and pro shop has some really nice merchandise. I feel like at 80ish dollars itis priced just right.
This is unequivocally the best public golf course in and around Wilmington! There is literally nothing bad about this place. The greens are magnificent, the fairways are in top notch shape. It's a challenging golf course with lots of sand and water. Creditto the ground's crew for keeping all of the bunkers in great shape, particularly during covid. They have an amazingly extensiveand scenic practice area including a perfect driving range with plenty of grass to hit off of, two huge chipping greens and alarge putting green. Range balls are also cheaper than most golf courses. The clubhouse and restaurant look great, staff isfriendly and the value is extremely high for what you pay. It's just a very scenic, well kept and well-designed golf course!Highly recommend!
