This is a lovely restaurant near the pier. My wife and I enjoyed some excellent po' boys. The fried green tomato and shrimp one was fantastic. Kendra did an outstanding job. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What Pratiksha Niroula doesn't like about Broussard's Bayou Grill Navarre:
Service was very sweet, but food was mediocre for the price. Po-boy was meh. Half and half was apparently very good according to my brother. Cajun fries had no seasoning, some salt, but nothing more. Beignet fries were very good, but quite greasy. View all feedback.
We had a fantastic dinner tonight! We almost decided against going due to the mixed reviews, but it turned out to be one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional, and everything was served quickly. Our group tried the Broussard’s Po' Boy, fried shrimp, shrimp and grits, and blackened redfish, and all of them were incredible!

The restaurant promotes itself impressively, but nearly half of the pier is actually built over beach sand. While the end of the octagon offers some nice ocean views, it’s not the best choice if you're looking for a good fishing experience. The pier is quite high above the water, and without the right equipment or a long trek to bring in a big catch, it’s nearly impossible to haul anything substantial onto the shore. Additionally, fishing regulations prohibit anglers from resting their surf rods against the pier, raising questions about the likelihood of making any significant catches. Although they advertise allowing up to four rods per fisherman, they only permit the use of one rod at a time, and many visitors had more than that. During our two-hour visit, we didn’t witness anyone catch anything beyond a few small bait fish. The sunset views are somewhat blocked by buildings in the foreground, so it's not quite the stunning ocean sunset you might expect. Overall, if you’re looking for a leisurely walk and some nice ocean views, the $5 walk-on fee is reasonable. However, if you’re hoping to fish for big game or seeking those breathtaking sunset views they advertise, you might want to give this pier a miss.
One of my favorite spots in Navarre! You can't truly experience Navarre without taking a stroll along the pier. It's the longest fishing pier in Florida, and the views are absolutely stunning!
For just $1 per person, this offers a great alternative to walking on the beach. You can stroll past the fishermen and spot many more sea creatures than you would on land. We were fortunate enough to see a large sea turtle, two big rays, a massive bait ball, and a few lucky fishermen as well.
