As always, a success for a few years, as long as we get to baqueira, is a must visit, restille. This year, if it fits, it has dripped us more, perhaps for the newness, we have been for three years without coming to baqueira. the best pot in the valley, delicious pacifier and exceptional treatment and how we always let ourselves be guided in wine and
Despite some comments on the agreement we do not speak Catalan we decided to reserve to try the pavilion. our experience was very good both in the deal and with respect to food. We had a delicious incoming duck and the chute accompanied by fries and a saucepan with very rich peppers all and a bottle of a priory at a very good price. Although we were quite full, we asked for a couple of desserts and we invited some liquors. the place is very nice and the town where it is, garòs is beautiful. according to our experience is highly recommended.
Simple but spectacularly good food. the letter is short but everything does very well: the orange pot is undoubtedly the best of the valley, probably the best pig I have ever tasted, the broth is an authentic delight. meat is of the highest quality and desserts are also simple but very good.
It seems the owner is doing us a favour instead of focusing on customer service. Especially if in peak time when he is uncapable of managing 2 turns. I still aimed to give him a second chance but i had to cancel due to some members of the family feeling sick. And when calling to communicate it, HE BLAMED ME FOR IT! Big rubbish and so many more options available that it is out of the list..
The menu has been the same for 37 years the waiter told us about his family run business and we could see why. Traditional catalonian cooking at its best. The menu is a bit limited but with food this good it does not matter. We ate the speciality of the house a soup/stew that was so delicious followed by a simple dish of lamb and potato but again sublime. We finished off the meal with ice cream laced with brandy and prunes and a creme catalan, both were very nice. The wine was excellent and very good value. It is expensive as on average a dish is 18 euros, there is no set menu so its not cheap. We will go back.
