Es ist nicht einfach, dieses Hotel "richtig" zu bewerten:Gebäudekomplex bestehend aus mehreren Häusern, die Zimmer zur Straße sind wegen des Kopfsteinpflasters wirklich sehr laut und nicht zu empfehlen, Einrichtung älterer 3 Sterne Standard - nichts Besonderes ...Hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des Personals - jedem Anliegen wurde prompt nachgegangen, jede Frage wurde freundlich beantwortetFrühstück ok, der... It was just a short stop to some more Müller Thurgau without reservation, no problems, just a warm welcome from a waiter and as a nice sofa place in the salon for 4 people. It is a beautiful, stylish hotel, the restaurant and menu lokk very good! Our next stay in Naumburg will be the Hotel Zur alte Schmiede! Thanks again to the restaurant staff!
Passed by Naumburg so often with the ICE, knew of Uta von Naumburg, and I had to see her. One of the next accusations to the Naumburg Cathedral (Kathedral) is the guest house Zur alte Schmiede, in history steep but with very nicely renovated accusations and a very nice restaurant. Had a very nice meal, accompanied by excellent wines from the surrounding vineyards, as well as a very good sleep. Wilde Zicke reminds me of the 50s and 60s in Germany when light railways were still part of the public transport system. This light railroad offers an interesting service from the train station to very close to the Gasthaus Zus alte Schmiede . Service in this inn was impeccable, from check-in to check-out and in the restaurant. The server was more than understanding with my questions and answered them truly and to my satisfaction, as I noticed some peculiar things. I look forward to the wines of the region (Saale/Unstrut) and was definitely not disappointed. Had more time to stay there, but it was a weekend and pages were not open on Sunday morning, but I saw Uta from Naumburg. One of my life goals is fulfilled.
I was alone at the restaurant. I had the hare terrine and a vegetarian stew with potatoes, squash and wild mushrooms. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly. The atmosphere was really interesting. They kept the old fireplace (forging) where they would forge things. The waiter had to revive the fire a few times, draw on different things and pump things. That was pretty nice.
