The Guest House - Natchez

We ate here on the complimentary voucher from our stay in the B B. I 'm glad it was free. The restaurant seems to be on the same downward path as the B B itself, but perhaps even more quickly. First, we were right behind another couple waiting to be seated. The dining room was full except for a table for 2 (being cleaned) and a table for 4. The man cleaning the 2-table motioned for the other couple to go to that one when he was done cleaning. Then he asked me how many (3), and he motioned for us to take the 4-top. He didn 't give us menus or offer us coffee (mind you, for most B B guests, the restaurant coffee was our first/only coffee of the morning since there are no makers in the rooms). There are about 10 tables (2 4 tops) in the whole restaurant, but the room is pretty small. I will give allowance for slow service when it 's obvious the wait staff is doing their best and busy. But she never greeted us and walked directly past our table at least 10 times before I asked if we were supposed to get the menus ourselves (it was a legitimate question as the menus were visible on the little bar area). She impatiently replied no, I will get them, but you have other people ahead of you. So we sat and waited a few more minutes. I noticed that not only had the couple who sat down only seconds before us already gotten menus, they also had coffee. So when she passed us again, I said excuse me, but the couple over there came in right before us and they already have coffee and menus. Could I at least get some coffee while we wait, please? And I wish I had video of her reaction. She grabbed menus and literally tossed/shoved them at us. She pushed my son 's under his arms he had folded on the table. You get nicer and faster service at Waffle House. The food is comparable, too. Our voucher was for 4 people but only 3 of us were in the restaurant. I asked her to honor the 4th person voucher and she hesitated but then said ok. One of the items we ordered was the breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun. I 'm no expert, but I 'm fairly certain it was just a hamburger bun brushed with butter. I can 't imagine people actually paying to eat here. The topping on the experience was the loud ambience music. It was instrumental versions of pop songs. Imagine hearing a violin rendition of Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson to start your day.

Food was outstanding! Loved the atmosphere. Wait staff was best that I have experienced in a while. Would go here again if in Natchez.

We were greeted incredibly friendly. There was also a little conversation with the boss. The food was very tasty and especially the homemade hummus!

Great clean place to stay in Natchez, MS. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The food is absolutely delicious every time I come here for lunch or dinner. Truly authentic Mediterranean cuisine!
