Lagoa - Nasugbu
Lagoa
Description
Perched inside a private resort at Pico de Loro, this restaurant divides diners: occasional buffets and standout dishes earn praise for taste and attentive staff, while inconsistent execution, slow service during busy periods and steep prices frustrate others. Menu highlights and a pleasant resort ambiance make it attractive for tourists and families, but diners beware of extra charges for takeout packaging and variable food temperature and quality.

The dining experience was far below expectations. Service was remarkably slow; it took an hour and several reminders to receive our food. Meanwhile, the staff seemed more interested in socializing among themselves than attending to customers, displaying a lack of proper service etiquette. The ambiance did little to improve matters, lacking the inviting atmosphere one would expect from a place where you are meant to enjoy a meal. In all, the lack of attention and subpar setting made for an unappetizing experience.
Price is expected, being in a remote place. Menu choices are quite limited, you will run out of choices after a couple of times there. Taste is good. Service is nice. There's just 1 particularly unreasonably priced item on the menu crispy pata for 1800! We settled for bulalo, kare2, etc. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
I was disappointed by the lack of service mindset from the staff. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
So we ordered 2 breakfast meal, one was an american breakfast, we waited for almost an hour for the food when no one was around, it was almost just us dining, then finally the food arrived, there was a hair on the plate. We asked a guy wait staff to change it, so they took the food and came back few minutes after with a clean plate but it was so obvious that they just flipped the eggs and lied to our face saying they made a new one. They didn't even care to apologize about what happened. Train your people to be honest and know how to Empathize! It looks like you're seeving us with your breakfast buffet leftovers!
