First place to dine in Nashville when arriving. Excellent gumbo and fried shrimp. Only negative is have to pay for parking to dine here Should had returned again compared to some of my other meals View all feedback.
What Ukpebo O doesn't like about The Gumbo Bros:
The food is mediocre. Happy hour is very limited. They have 5 dollar beer, 6 dollar wine, and 7 dollar well. No cocktails are on happy hour. The food is fried pickles for $3 and two other items I can't remember. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo also that to me was just okay. Bread is an extra dollar. The bengiets are forgettable. All in all don't waste your time here for happy hour. Walk to STK and have a real hap... View all feedback.

Excellent seafood gumbo! Plus the “Pu Pu” platter was very delicious. I got mine to go and the gentleman at the bar was extremely helpful. Look forward to going back and enjoying the atmosphere.
I had been wanting to try this for a while. So sad that I waited so long. The food was excellent! Super fresh bread on the po boy. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The gumbo was also great. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazingggg! The shrimp poboy was absolutely dynamite and my brother got the hot honey chicken poboy it was delicious!
The Debris Fries and sausage/chicken gumbo were AMAZING. So much flavor and good portion sizes. Catfish was delicious but only 1 filet with the basket. I could easily have eaten 2! A must try for sure.
