The chicken and waffles are great! My husband got the chicken and catfish (swai). Best catfish I’ve had in a long time. The potatoes and fries were yummy! The drip coffee was great too! Everyone was very friendly. The live band made for the best atmosphere. I was surprised the prices were so low for the quality of food and service!

We came to Nashville to enjoy a bit of history and see the city. We decided to try a locally Black owned establishment and came across Shugga Hi to eat brunch and what a treat it was. I ate the fish and grits and it was the best I have had in years. The group I came with was just impressed. Make it a point to stop by and say ??

DO NOT COME HERE! This place is HORRIBLE.Very nice staff; however, we waited over an hour for chicken and waffles, and the quality of the food was incredibly poor.Not sure how this place got such great reviews. I went with a party of 6, and we had to make 5 different order modifications due to a lack of food supplies on the restaurant’s part.Nice atmosphere, kind staff, but awful food and service.
