Red's Hot Chicken

Yea this is really good hot chicken no doubt! Pretty moist on the inside, nice crust on the chicken, and I got mine medium which I regret. Should have went with hot though for real. Goes great rolled up in white bread topped with comeback sauce and slaw. That's the only way to eat it on my opinion. I do have to say I really thought their slaw was good. It wasn't anything mind blowing. It's just the perfect slaw to eat with hot chicken. It was vinegar based and had a sweet and vinegar punch to it. Pimento Mac n Cheese was ok. Better than some but not most. I will say the pimento cheese flavor did come out though. That's all. I'd definitely come back.

We were so sad when Hog Heaven closed a few years ago and cautiously hopeful when we heard about Red's 615 taking over the space. They had BIG shoes to fill. Since that time we have become regular customers and were excited to have our own secret spot close to our office. That didn't last for long and we are happy for them. Their growth happened for multiple reasons. First and foremost consistency in their food and service. I don't care how busy they may be, and that's pretty busy these days, they are incredibly pleasant and their quality never suffers. There a lot of hot chicken options in Nashville but Red's is the real deal and they back it up. One of these days I'm going to get past their chicken and give their catfish sandwich a try. And once again, dug in and started eating before I took a picture...will try next time.

OKAY, Y'ALL! I've finally found it.. the best hot chicken in Nashville! Look, I'm a local and I have been eating hot chicken since I could chew. I have always believed that good hot chicken is bone-in chicken but my goodness these tenders have changed my mind... and maybe my life. The tenders were perfect- the breading, the crispness, and the sauce! The medium was comparable to HB's hot so be weary of that. To me, it was the perfect spice level. The pimento Mac and cheese was absolutely perfect. It knocks my previous Mac and cheese favorite off the top spot. These tenders and Mac and cheese were amazing, but you have to get the Crunchwrap. My boyfriend and I got one so we could try it and we could not put it down. It has Mac and cheese, chicken, bacon, and comeback sauce in it. I'm not sure what comeback sauce is but it's delicious. The prices were great, we ended up paying $44 for all of our food and drinks and we both had tons of leftovers. There is parking in the back of the building. It's a walk up window where you order and there's outside bar seating which is where we sat but almost every person was taking theirs togo. I absolutely cannot wait to go back! Great job, Red!

Got a chicken crunch wrap with their Nashville fire sauce. The guy warned me it was fire and he wasn't kidding hottest thing I've ever had in my life! But it was delicious, definitely pleased with the decision to have lunch here. Also got seasoned fries, they were great. Def recommend this place!

I think the food is very addictive. I travelled 15 miles from Goodlettsville to Nashville just for Mac n cheese chicken bowl and Hot chicken sandwich. And i suffer from Thoracic disc bulge issue. Still i travelled to Red's 615 and had my lunch. Such an addictive taste.
