Loved this small botanical garden and mansion experience. The grounds are exceptional with whimsical feel. Since it's summer and so hot, best to go in the morning as soon as it opens. Really enjoyed visiting here. Can spend a good 3-4 hours with mansion visit. View all feedback.

Sure gardens are always pretty but the price to see them is so high and it is so pretentious. Every employee encounter I 've had was so hoity toity. A worker even told my friend with her baby you can let your little one run around without having to worry since the price of admission keeps the undesirables out . I think I 'll just go walk through the Home Depot garden center instead. View all feedback.

Beautiful gardens! Fabulous tour of the mansion. We will plan to spend more time here next visit. If we lived nearby we would become members. Worth the time money.

Cheekwood is a wonderful and expansive botanical garden. Likely, one of the best I’ve seen. The grounds includes ample space for picnics and allows patrons to bring in blankets and light food/drinks. There’s also an indoor area with restrooms and classrooms where they hold events throughout the year, including gardening seminars, art seminars, and more. Cheekwood also has weekly musical events with food trucks on one of their lawns called Thursday Nights Out. Additionally, the grounds includes the Cheekwood mansion with includes their permanent historical art and decor collection from the Cheekwood family as well as a rotating contemporary art gallery on the second floor. There’s a converted equestrian barn now used as patio seating and dining for an on-site cafe. They also have a gift shop. The gardens includes many stunning spots such as a the Japanese Bonsai garden, a fun train garden for families and enthusiasts, as well as the landscaped gardens around the mansion and lakes. Every time I visit Cheekwood I leave feeling like I’ve discovered a new part of the grounds. Truly a wonderful addition for Nashville and 1000% worth the yearly membership for locals.
Loved it! Went for the trolls but stayed 4 hours wondering the rest of the place! Beautiful!
