Chismes Cafe

I have eaten here twice and really enjoyed it both times. The tacos, burrito, and gordita are all so good. I’m big on gorditas, and I think this was the best one I have ever had. I had pastor on mine, but it’s also good with chorizo. Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent service. I’ll be back!

The food is acceptable, but the service leaves much to be desired. The staff seems disengaged and serves with reluctance, often lacking attentiveness. When you request something, it feels like a chore for them.

I've been missing my grandmother's cooking for quite a while, and I still do. However, this restaurant brought back fond memories of her dishes. The first review I came across raved about their Pozole being outstanding, and I realized I had finally found the place I had been searching for. The bowl I received was much larger than I had anticipated, and I ended up finishing it all! The staff was amazing and very patient with the limited Spanish I could remember. I highly recommend bringing your family here!
