Chez Lama Cuisine

Griot and pikliz! in Nashville?! Love it! For reference, griot is so good that it used to be on the Acme Feed and Seed menu because the owners or maybe the chef loved it so much that they brought it back to one of Nashville's most famous establishments! It is no longer on their menu leaving a void for Haitian food. Chez Lama to the rescue! Granted nothing beats my mother's cooking or the great Haitian restaurants in Miami but this is more than a suitable option! The rice and beans is always the way to go. Put the Griyo Island Pork on top followed by the Pikliz and let your tastebuds go to heaven. It is so great to have the Caribbean's best island food (yeah, I said it) here! I try to order once a week and it never fails!

Bite into my food n every bite all i taste is burnt rice like i spent my money expecting to get a good meal cant even eat it ...n you guys are usually good too just highly disappointed specially when i just got home from work thinking ima have a good meal

Ordered for 12:10 12:20 delivery, wasnt ready for dasher until close to 12:30.. Good food.. some food needs a bit more seasoning, however. My favorites were the Soup Joumou , Pate (although they gave me spinach instead of the correct one and the Counch Friters . I love how they give you sturdy packaging as well! Will definitely order again! Nigerian women such as myself appreciate our cousin's food :

It is very good! But nothing like the picture! Park is a side item and rice the main dish.
