I’m a Belmont student so this little restaurant is the perfect place for my friends and I to grab a bite before or after Belmont shows, events, and basketball games! Also a great place to take my parents when they visit. Being from Texas, this is one of the best restaurants in Nashville that tastes like home! What Sheila Green doesn't like about Chago's Cantina:
Service was slow. Waitress forgot to bring our fries 3 times. Food quantity was small and only average to way below average tasting. Breakfast taco had raw potatoes in it. No water offered and one of us asked, received one water for table of three. No refills offered. Not worth a visit! So many other delicious restaurants in Nashville. View all feedback.
The food and ambiance were not nearly as Mexican or even Latino as I thought it would be. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, and I really like the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. The steak was incredible.
We ordered a smorgasbord for a group of us for lunch as a delivery. We ordered the birria tacos, birria quesadillas, chicken taquitos, and portobello mushroom tacos. Everything was delicious! From the group: “Chago’s always hits,” “flavorful,” and “super authentic.” Will definitely be ordering again- dine in next time!
Just moved to the neighborhood and tried this place. Really good margarita and food. The chicken enchiladas were excellent as were the birria tacos. Enjoyed the neighborhood feel. Will definitely be back.
Busy, but I was well taken care of. The salmon was tasty, the portions were perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
I got the mahi tacos. I understand it is happy hour but this fish must have been already cooked prior and then microwaved because it was like rubber. I have no idea but possibly the worst taco I ever had? Service was great so they get an extra star. Do better.
