Contribute FeedbackIf you are kind of self absorbed and looking to be catered to, then Bros may not be for you. The place is not a fine dining restaurant, or a campy immitation of a Cajun restaurant It is an authentic joint right out of the bayou. Darrell Breaux 's family are the cooks, waiters and bottle washers don 't look to be seated by a hostess when you arrive. You need to just walk in and make yourself at home to pass a good time. If its busy, then you might even share a table with a stranger. There is a menu, but no one uses it all the good food is written on a board up front of the dining room. The food will be delicious, authentic and overflowing the plate but its not New Orleans Commanders Palace. Its a Cajun Joint!!! with home made pork jambalaya, red beans and rice, boudin, etouffee and gumbo. If you think Cajun food is Real Yummy then its probably not for you. Real Cajun food is hearty, spicy, well seasoned and overflowing the plate. Hell crawfish are served on beer trays and newspaper. Food is always fresh and from scratch home made. The restaurant is clean, sanitary and healthy but its also an old building well worn. When you stop in, speak a few minutes with Darrell Breaux get the flavor of Cajun you will enjoy the place if you are not so up tight. Loosen up and slow down, and see if you can 't get a taste Cajun life in the Bayou.
