When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty. The drinks came out promptly, but the food took an eternity. I'm fairly certain the fried green tomatoes were frozen, and the mashed potatoes seemed over-processed. The meatloaf was decent, but the sauce it was drenched in was unappetizing and there was way too much of it. The prices were reasonable, but the quality of the food left much to be desired. Great spot in Nashville for a proper sit-down meal with quality food and atmosphere. The history of the building was also fascinating. I wish the video displayed on the way matched the music they played throughout the restaurant. I think it would've added to the ambiance. Their salad portion was wildly huge. I couldn't finish. Great Southern food and the hot chicken is a classic option!
I ordered the salmon. It was bland and the broccolini was bitter. Very disappointed in the food. Will not go back!
