Awesome food...It tastes exactly the same as in India.
I visit there at least twice a month and prefer going during the lunch time as like the Buffet which is not for dinner. View all feedback.
What Ericka Welch doesn't like about Woodlands:
As a vegetarian, I’m always looking for great veggie oriented restaurants. Woodlands is not fancy but the food is terrific and the service pleasant. They have undergone a recent renovation and I’m looking forward to seeing “what they’ve done with the place”. Actually meeting my son for lunch today!! View all feedback.
That is the best Indian food in the green hills area. the masala dosa is really good. samosas are the best I had everywhere and channa masala and aloo gobi are excellent. I prefer the menu, but they also have a popular lunch buffet.
While visiting Nashville we were concerned we wouldn't be able to find much vegan food. This place was a revelation. We ate the lunch buffet and the majority of the offerings were vegan. Everything was clearly labeled, the place was incredibly lovely and clean, the service was excellent and the food was some of the most delicious Indian food I've ever enjoyed.
I’ve spent a fair bit of time in India and this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Most restaurants in India are like this because the majority of the country is vegetarian. So they aren’t making veggie versions of meat dishes, they’re just making food. The lunch buffet is outstanding and a great bargain. Plus they switch up the dishes each day of the week.
The lunch was very great. Vegan options were many and with a lot of variety. Staff was kind and price was reasonable. We will come back for sure.
Went to Woodlands today after seeing the good review they had. The 12.99 lunch buffet was a great deal. Also within 5 minutes of the Parthenon so perfect for before or after some sightseeing. My favorite dish was a cauliflower spinach mixture but everything I tried was good. Naan was a little flatter and drier then I am used to but you don’t really notice when paired with everything else. Also everything is clearly marked either Vegan or Gluten free on the buffet so you don’t have to worry about anything hiding in there.
